Algebra

The Algebra course guides students through a complete first year of algebra study. Students master the use of the tools of properties, functions, and graphs. They then begin to work with simple equations and inequalities. They learn to graph and write math statements based on real-world data and then solve systems of equations through several methods. The students will explore parts of a quadratic expression along with the use of exponents and radicals. They will also explore the trigonometric properties of right triangles and finish with a study of factoring polynomials.
